annoying but considerate

 

i remember sitting

on the front porch,

smoking a cigarette

while holding your

hand

 

it’s the closest they

have ever allowed

me to perfection

 

you went away

just like all the

others

 

so did the porch

and the cigarette

 

sometimes i take

a bottle of whiskey

into the backyard

now and ask the

powers that be to

take me

 

i guess they are

waiting for me

to finish off the

bottle first

 

annoying but

considerate

 

the good shit
